In 2007 the Covey Run 5k made its debut and since that was my first year running I decided it would be fun to have an annual race that I would do and wouldn't it be perfect to start with the 1st annual Covey Run?
This year I went back and forth about signing up but finally did so a few days before the race. I'm so glad I did! I finished 6th in my division with a time of 25:08 (8:06 min per mile pace). Now here is the biggest accomplishment: my previous times for this race were: 28:15 (2008) and 28:50 (2007). I dropped 3:07 from my time last year! Thank you Will and 1/2 marathon training!
